Come check the other organizations we have here, at Pilgrim Lutheran!
Our guild is made up of individuals who desire to serve God by maintaining the Altar of the Lord. Though there are numerous things that our Altar Guild oversees, they primarily provide care for sacristy and sacramental linens (communion and baptismal). This would include the wine, wine cups, wafers, candles, and cloths. In addition, they also care and handling of all holy things on the altar, care of the paraments and banners for the altar, pulpit and lectern and any flowers and plants given by church members to the church for the altar, care and cleaning of clergy vestments as requested by pastors. Any confirmed member of the church is welcome to join Altar Guild. However, even if God has not called you to serve with our group, all members are encouraged to support the Guild's work and avoid from interfering with their duty of service before the Altar of the Lord.
When do we meet? Though our guild does not meet monthly, we do conduct regular meetings throughout the year. Generally speaking, we meet as group before Lent, in September, and before Thanksgiving (to include Advent plans).
Dartball is a sport that one plays by throwing a dart underhand at a 4 foot by 4 foot board. This board is in the shape of a baseball diamond. Like traditional baseball, the goal is to hit a single, double, triple, or home run. Each team has 9 players competing. Also, there is nothing physical about this game except for throwing the dart. All confirmed Lutherans are welcome to join in the fun of Dartball
When do we meet? The church league starts in September and runs through winter.
Lutheran Women Missionary League (LWML) is made up of a group of women who love to serve the Lord with gladness and to aid our Congregation in any way that we can.
